Down From The Ground

Down from the ground
There came a sound
Of the breaking of glass
The first going to be last
He was drunk
Like a punk

The jukebox played Bobby Magee
The thing shrieked like a Banchee
The man was all in cuts
Someone said “Oh I am gonna throw up my guts”
He slipped in the spews
Then lost his shoes

And got stuck
In the muck
The bouncers came round
The fists came flying
No time for crying

Sound of the fire alarm
Now there was all calm
Then came the police
And they were all fleeced

This is a day in the life of Ewok

This is a day in the life of Ewok!!
When life comes 'round
spiders abound
When rain comes down
humidity goes up
mozzies zing
they sting
the bites itch
what a bitch
The grass grows
it needs mowes
lots of bugs
more hugs
The tomatoes grow red
,but do they contain lead?
Parsley plants go to seed
they are like weeds
There is graffiti on the wall
soon it will look like a mall
Optus will come to connect up the phone
After having a cone
The house is a mess
I do not care less
A car goes past
his horn goes blast
Its about to rain
ohh what a pain!
The stereo is playing Visions of Johanna
I should put up the banner
The air is very still
not much thrill
Today is the day of Saturn
What will happen?
Must have a shower
plug the jug into the power
drink some tea
with glee
Click on send
as I down bend
I have had my shower
at such a late hour
Have just fed the fish
they have had a lovely dish
cook the noodle soup
hope it doesn't go goop
The TV remote control went bung
it not having much fun
Now it's fixed
The infra red rays score hits
Next Chapter Soon.........

Ginger the cat

Ginger the cat
Sat on the mat
After eating his fish
It was a lovely dish
He licked his fur
And started to purr

Number 2

Give Ginger the cat some roast Pork
From the satay stalk
Pat his fur
He will then purr
With a deep sound
Coming from the ground
Scratch him on the back
Give him lots of pats
Handfulls of fur comes out
All over the lawn everywhere about
Maybe a part alpaca
Or a miniature alpaca Chewbacca

Paul’s Kitchen poem

The jellyfish light
Becomes quite bright
After the jug has
Clicked off
It has now stopped
Making the water hot
Get the fly swat
Down come Wapp!!
Gone the cockroach
The fridge is whirring
Outside the cats purring
A concophony of sounds
Of things all around
Tika tack
Tika tack
The dogs come back
Slup
Burp
Paul drinks his coffee
Has the dog still got fleas?
All gone away
That’s the end of today
